A convenient way into Alaska if you'd rather not build a one-way flight into your plans. Royal Princess runs this route nearly every week from late April into September, calling at Juneau and Skagway before scenic cruising Glacier Bay National Park, then Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C. on the way home. A September 9 departure runs Seattle to Vancouver for anyone who wants to end the trip in British Columbia.

Endicott Arm is a narrow fjord lined with waterfalls and drifting ice, and Dawes Glacier sits at the end of it — the kind of place where the ship feels genuinely small. The route pairs that with Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan before returning to Vancouver. Emerald Princess sails this itinerary weekly from mid-May through early September, with additional dates on Crown Princess and Island Princess. A 9-day version departing May 4 adds Icy Strait Point and Victoria, B.C.

You'll sail north from Vancouver through Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, then trade towns for ice: Glacier Bay National Park followed by College Fjord, with Prince William Sound delivering some of the most pristine wilderness scenery on the itinerary. Select departures cruise Hubbard Glacier in place of Glacier Bay. Ships include Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Discovery Princess and Island Princess.

The same iconic route, run in reverse — and for many travelers, the better version, because it pairs naturally with a land tour on the front end. You'll begin at Hubbard Glacier, then enter Glacier Bay National Park before working down the coast through Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan to Vancouver. Select Discovery Princess departures swap Icy Strait Point in for Skagway. Ships include Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Discovery Princess and Island Princess.

14 Days | Roundtrip from Vancouver, B.C.
For travelers who want the whole coast and then the whole coast again. This sailing runs the full northbound Voyage of the Glaciers to Anchorage (Whittier), then turns around and sails it back south — meaning Glacier Bay National Park twice on most departures, plus Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord, and repeat calls in Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway. Seeing a port twice is a rare luxury in Alaska: do the big excursion the first time, and the town itself the second. Ships include Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Island Princess and Discovery Princess, with the Discovery Princess version substituting Icy Strait Point on the southbound leg.

Every cruisetour includes an overnight in Denali, Alaska rail travel, and the chance to explore up to four national parks. You'll stay at exclusive Princess Wilderness Lodges, and Direct-to-the-Wilderness® rail service moves you from ship to the Denali area the same day — less transit, more Alaska. Itineraries run from 10 to 17 nights and can be taken before or after your cruise.

Expect fresh Alaska seafood, a local speaker series, stories from legendary explorers and fishermen, and guest favorites like Puppies in the Piazza — sled dog puppies in the ship's central atrium, which is exactly as good as it sounds.

Every Princess ship sailing Alaska includes a generous amount of dining at no extra cost — main dining rooms with rotating menus, a full buffet open across the day, casual poolside options like pizza and grill fare, soft serve, and room service. Menus during Alaska season lean into the destination, with fresh Alaska seafood featured through the North to Alaska program. Specialty restaurants are available for an additional charge when you want to make a night of it.
Headline entertainment
Every cruise offers Las Vegas- and Broadway-Style Entertainment. There are several different production shows written, costumed and choreographed exclusively by Princess Cruises. and the Champagne Soirée (Piazza celebration that culminates in Princess’ Champagne Waterfall). In addition to our main stage entertainment, Princess features the talents of magicians, comedians and guest singers.
Evening show times vary by ship and by night of the sailing. Showtimes are generally between 7:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
